The Anjuna Beach of Goa is situated about 18 km from Panaji, the capital city of Goa, in the area called the Bardez Taluka. This is part of a 30 km stretch of the sandy beach coastline running along the western coast by the Arabian Sea, 8 km west of Mapusa, North Goa. The beast season to visit the Anjuna Beach in Goa is from November to March when the weather is excellent and the spirit of Goa is at its peak. The Anjuna Beach in Goa attracts tourists’ primarily because of its famous Flea market. The beach is also known for its Trance Parties and the Hippies can be found trying to fuse the eastern traditional and spiritual spirit wit the Western music and ideas.

The magnificent Albuquerque Mansion constructed in the year of 1920 and flanked by octagonal towers with a beautiful Mangalore tile-roof is another structure to visit and admire on the Anjuna Beach, Goa. The Mascarenhas Mansion is built with plenty of classic balconies giving an open view of the sea beach. There is an L-shaped seat made from expensive wood where one can relax and admire the elegant sea. There are also stained glass artwork and etchings to admire.
The Flea Market in the Anjuna Beach of Goa is held every Wednesday at about 11 in the morning. Bursts of vibrant colors and lines of vehicles loaded with tourists throng the total market area. This is where they can spend, shop and bargain to their hearts content. One can find anything from used paperback to innovative haircut saloons. The ‘Goa Trance’ is its own unique brand of music to reflect the upbeat spirit of Goa and its fusion depicts the union of many different cultures. There are hotels and guesthouses available for accommodation around the village and even houses on rent for those planning for a long stay.
