Dharamsala
Dharamsala is one of the most important hill stations in Himachal Pradesh. With the sombre Dhauladhar Mountains at the back ground, the entire area of Dharamsala is divided into two halves. The upper Dharamsala is much higher than the lower Dharamsala. Home to the Tibetan religious leader Dalai Lama Dharamsala is studded with a lot of Buddhist gumphas and shrines. Hindus too flock at the area in search of peace and tranquility. Dharamsala is home to a large number of cascading water falls and naturally landscaped gardens.

The Kangra Museum at Dharamsala is a major crowd puller. Besides the many gumphas, Dharamsala is also home to the St. John's Church. Dall Lake, Dharamkot, Karanje, Nupur Fort, Central Cathedral, Lord Elgin's Cathedral, Moodabidri are some of the other major tourist attractions in Dharamsala.
